Atomic absorption spectroscopy is extensively used in analysis of trace metals using absorption of element specific wavelengths by atoms in ground state. It has found applications in different fields(water, food, beverages, agriculture products, geological samples, body fluids, etc. ) This is due to the need for lower detection limits ans the need for trace analysis in wide spectrum of samples.
This course provide the attendee with the knowledge and skills needed for optimizing and troubleshooting basic atomic absorption, as well as laboratory exercises.
